Description

This delicious Ham and Cheese Biscuit Bake is a perfect blend of flaky biscuits, savory ham, and melted cheese, all brushed with garlic butter and fresh herbs. It’s great for brunch or a comforting dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated Grands Biscuits
  • 1 pound ham (1 1/2 inch chunks or slices)
  • 16 slices cheese (pepper jack, smoked gouda or colby jack)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 garlic cloves (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (cilantro, parsley or thyme)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Butter a 9 x 13 casserole dish.
  3. Remove biscuits from the can and divide the flaky layers of each biscuit into 2 pieces.
  4. Add 1/2 slice of cheese, folded into quarters, and a chunk of ham to each biscuit half.
  5. Pinch the biscuit dough together to form a ball.
  6. Place biscuit balls into the buttered pan, seam side down.
  7. Bake for 22-25 minutes until biscuit dough is baked through.
  8. Make the garlic butter by combining butter and sliced garlic cloves in a small skillet; cook over low heat for 3-4 minutes.
  9. Remove biscuit bake from oven and brush with garlic butter and garnish with chopped herbs.
  10. Serve warm or at room temperature.
