Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter until bubbly. Sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth; stir to combine.
  4. Add Italian seasoning to the sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined. Return chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce, and simmer for an additional minute.
