- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, toss cashews with salt and cayenne until evenly coated.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine maple syrup and vanilla. Stir until bubbling but not boiling.
- Pour the maple mixture over the cashews and stir to coat thoroughly.
- Spread cashews on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Allow to cool completely before serving.
