Description

A creamy and tangy coleslaw that pairs perfectly with any meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14-16-ounce) bag coleslaw mix
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon celery seeds (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt (more or less to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (more or less to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine all the dressing ingredients. Taste and adjust the salt and pepper as needed.
  2. Just before serving, toss together the coleslaw mix and dressing. If you prefer a softer coleslaw, you can mix it one hour beforehand, but it is a bit more runny.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For added crunch, you can include chopped apples or nuts.
