Description

Delicious pancakes coated in cinnamon sugar, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1½ tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Add milk, egg, and melted butter. Whisk until just combined.
  3. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  4. Pour batter to form small pancakes. Cook 1 – 2 minutes per side until golden.
  5. In a shallow bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  6. While the pancakes are still warm, gently coat both sides in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  7. Serve immediately with chocolate sauce, dulce de leche, or maple syrup.

Notes

  • For fluffier pancakes, do not overmix the batter.
