Description

A delightful dessert that combines the flavors of apple pie and cinnamon rolls.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans cinnamon rolls
  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • Cooking spray (for greasing)
  • Icing (included in cinnamon rolls)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a pie plate with cooking spray.
  2. Open 1 tube of cinnamon rolls. Flatten rolls into thin rounds. Press into pie plate and pinch seams to seal into an even crust.
  3. Spoon apple pie filling evenly over the crust.
  4. Open 2nd tube of cinnamon rolls. Unravel each roll into strips. Arrange strips in a lattice pattern over the filling.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the top is deep golden and the center looks set. If browning too quickly, tent loosely with foil.
  6. Cool for 10–15 minutes. Drizzle/spread icing over the top. Slice and serve.
  7. Serve & enjoy.
