Description

These delicious ham and cheese crescent rolls are perfect for a quick snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 8 refrigerated crescent rolls (one 8-ounce tube)
  • 8 slices black forest ham
  • 8 slices swiss cheese (or Gruyere/Havarti)
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Unroll the crescent rolls, then separate into triangles at the dotted line. Lay 1 slice black forest ham, folded, and 1 slice swiss cheese on the widest part of 1 refrigerated crescent roll triangle. Repeat with the other crescent rolls.
  3. Tightly roll each of the crescent rolls up, starting at the wide end. Place onto the prepared baking sheet, tip-side down, leaving space between each roll.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons salted butter, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley. Brush over each crescent roll.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up. Some cheese may melt out while baking – parchment paper will make cleanup easier.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
