A deliciously rich dessert featuring a creamy chocolate filling topped with fluffy marshmallows.

- 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 8 oz bittersweet chocolate baking bars
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 1–1 cups mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350℉ and lightly grease an 8-inch round baking pan.
- Combine the cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and sugar in a mixing bowl and beat on medium-high speed for a couple of minutes until the texture is light and fluffy and completely mixed.
- Break up the chocolate bars into small pieces and add them to a double boiler. Set the heat to medium and melt the chocolate just until all melted and smooth. Alternatively, break up the bars into small pieces and melt them in the microwave, on half power, in 30-45 second increments, stirring in between.
- Pour the melted chocolate into the cream cheese mixture. Beat for another minute or two, scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl, and beat until smooth.
- Spread the mixture in the baking pan and cover with marshmallows and chocolate chips if using.
- Bake for about 15 minutes, until the marshmallows are golden brown.
- Serve with fruit, crackers, and cookies.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, consider using a mix of dark and milk chocolate.
- Garnish with fresh berries for an extra pop of color.
