Description
A refreshing and delicious strawberry espresso latte recipe perfect for any time of the day.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup chopped strawberries
- 3–4 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 4 shots espresso
- optional: pinch of cinnamon and/or salt
Instructions
- Add your chopped strawberries to a blender with the honey and vanilla. Add more or less honey depending on your sweetness preference.
- Blend until smooth. Transfer to a small pot on the stove and heat over medium/high heat. Bring to a low boil, then reduce the heat to medium/low and simmer for 10 minutes to let the flavor deepen and the sauce thicken. Set aside to cool.
- Once cool, add about 2 tablespoons each to two glasses (or more as desired! you will have more strawberry sauce than the two lattes need), and top with ice.
- Pour on top the milk, then add your espresso. Mix to combine and enjoy!
Notes
- This recipe makes more strawberry sauce than the two lattes need, perfect for extra servings.
