Description

A delicious cream cheese and Oreo cheese ball shaped like a football, perfect for parties!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Nutella or peanut butter or chocolate syrup
  • 15 Oreos, crushed
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels (mini or regular sized, can also use chocolate sprinkles)

Instructions

  1. Using mixer, beat cream cheese and butter for 3 minutes.
  2. Add powdered sugar and beat an additional 2 minutes, scraping down the sides of the bowl as necessary.
  3. To the bowl of cream cheese, add Nutella/peanut butter or chocolate syrup and crushed Oreo cookies. Blend completely.
  4. Transfer the cream cheese mixture into the plastic wrap lined bowl. Fold up the plastic around the cheese ball. Refrigerate for about an hour.
  5. Remove plastic wrap and shape cheese ball into a football on a serving plate. Press chocolate chips/sprinkles into top and sides until completely covered.
  6. Melt ⅓ cup white chocolate or use 3-4 tablespoons vanilla frosting and place in a ziplock bag, snip off the corner and pipe the laces on the top of the football. You can also reserve 3-4 tablespoons of cream cheese mixture from step one and use this for the laces as well.
  7. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Enjoy with pretzels, apples, graham crackers, cookies, or whatever!
